Overview
Apistogramma agassizii is a popular dwarf cichlid from the Amazon, available in many selectively bred colour strains (Double Red, Gold Fire, etc.). Males are colourful and territorial; females are smaller and more subdued. They appreciate warm, soft, acidic water and structured territory.
