Overview

The Galaxy / Celestial Pearl Rasbora (Celestichthys margaritatus) is a tiny, stunning nano fish with a dark body speckled with pearl-like spots and orange fins. Extremely popular for nano planted tanks.

• Temperament: Peaceful, shy schooling fish
• Best companions: Other nano fish (Ember Tetras, endlers), dwarf shrimp, snails
• Schooling: Minimum 8

Common Issues

• Very small — easily outcompeted for food
• Colour intensifies in soft, acidic water with dim lighting
• Lifespan: 2–3 years
