Overview

The Pygmy Cory (Corydoras pygmaeus) is a tiny social catfish that uniquely swims in mid-water as well as along the substrate. One of the smallest Corydoras species, ideal for nano planted tanks.

  • Best companions: Other nano fish (Ember Tetras, endlers, rasboras), dwarf shrimp, snails
  • Avoid: Any fish large enough to eat them
  • Schooling: Minimum 8; they school in mid-water β€” unique behaviour
