The Rummy Nose Tetra (Hemigrammus bleheri, commonly mislabeled as H. rhodostomus) is prized for its brilliant red head, checkerboard body pattern, and precise schooling behaviour β one of the tightest schoolers in the hobby. The red nose intensity is a direct indicator of water quality.
